West Coast Vancouver Island has some of the best early season fishery in April and May. Salmon and bottom cod fish aggressively feeding on the coastal reefs and inshore waters of Barkley Sound. Fish is the freshest in Spring Time.
Spring Salmon Fishing(Chinook Salmon) is open year round and our peak season is from June through to September when we have mature schools of salmon heading to there spawning grounds, but fishing is not over, spring salmon fishing can be caught year round, they are younger fish that can run 6 to 25lbs. During the deep winter months our boats are hauled out for the winter, beginning of April is when our boats head back into the water. We will start fishing on April 1st which is also when ling cod season opens as well. So we can fill our spring days with some spring salmon fishing and also ling cod fishing and rock cod fishing.
Deposit – A deposit of $250.00 is required to reserve the boat for you.
Cancellation – Should we need to cancel a charter due to unsafe conditions deposit will be refunded. Motion sickness doesn’t warrant a refund.
